We are committed to developing proposals that:
- Guarantee physical and economic access to sufficient food (safe and nutritious) that satisfies their nutritional needs and that allows men and women to lead an active and healthy life.
· Promote and strengthen organized community participation as an engine of development, since its role in the design of production, distribution and
food consumption.
Recognize the rights of rural and urban women as main producers and suppliers of food and protagonists in the processes of social and solidarity economy, whose participation in the design and execution of production and distribution processes must be guaranteed, as well as their access , use and control of resources (land, formation, properties …).
· In the medium and long term, propose food production and consumption proposals based on a diversified agricultural production system that respects biodiversity, manages
natural resources in a sustainable way and use appropriate technology, always respecting the indigenous traditions of the peoples, their cultural diversity, their ways of working and their relationship with nature. Farming and peasant livestock activity can produce sufficient, nutritious and affordable food, without harming nature, without expelling peasants from their lands and without contaminating our bodies.
· Promote local markets, based on local production and ethical consumption as a way of self-sustaining, preserving their own food cultures and ensuring
fair prices in relation to production costs.
· Promote social and solidarity economy initiatives in urban areas, fostering local development strategies as a basis for reducing inequality and achieving equitable and sustainable economic development.
