In the context of the armed conflict in Colombia, members of the Colombian army murdered innocent civilians and presented them as guerrillas killed in combat in exchange for promotions and rewards. Most of these cases occurred in the government of former President Uribe when Juan Manuel Santos was his Minister of Defense. This death campaign is known as the “false positives” and the number of victims ranges from 3,000 according to the FIDH report but can reach 10,000 according to a study published in The Guardian. This CINE FORUM WEB supports the struggles of the mothers and families of some of these young people and people, who have been fighting for truth, justice and guarantees of non-repetition for more than 10 years and the role of the journalist / documentarian, in the fight for the truth, justice and no repetition.
